Oil Quartz is also known as Enhydro or Enpetro Golden Quartz. It is one of the most beautiful, exotic and energetic types of quartz. It gets its name from the unique pockets of golden oil. These trapped oil droplets are incredibly fluorescent under UV light. They are very rare and are only found in the Himalayas, Pakistan, Afghanistan and New Mexico. Oil Quartz on matrix are even rarer as the majority are loose stones. Quartz enhances the metaphysical properties of the oil it contains which is said to help balance our emotions, purify our love and create a deeper connection with the spirit of the Earth.
