K2 Stone: granite grounding, third-eye alignment, and inner guidance

The K2 stone (often sold as K2 Granite, K2 Jasper, or Raindrop Azurite) is instantly recognizable: a light granite base sprinkled with deep blue azurite spots, like droplets resting on the surface. Both visually and symbolically, it suggests a rare blend of earthy stability and inner vision.

Origin and composition

K2 comes from northern Pakistan, in the Skardu area (the Karakoram range, near K2 mountain). From a mineralogical standpoint, it is granite (quartz + feldspar, often with biotite) containing azurite inclusions; some specimens may also show faint greenish tones related to malachite.
Note: despite the commercial name “K2 Jasper,” the host rock is granite (not jasper in the strict mineralogical sense).
