Peacock Aura Kyanite (Dichroic Kyanite / Peacock Aura): Iridescence, Indigo Ray, and Intuitive Connection

Also called Dichroic Kyanite, Peacock Aura Kyanite, or Kyanite Peacock Aura, this kyanite owes its spectacular “peacock” shimmer to a titanium treatment (a process similar to the one used to create Aqua Aura Quartz). In some specimens, the crystal growth forms a fan-like geometric pattern, like an unfolded structure that catches the light and reflects it in cyan and indigo tones. The many facets reflect light in every direction, and the iridescent surfaces seem to shift color depending on the angle, creating a lively, fascinating play of light.

In crystal healing, peacock aura kyanite is associated with high-frequency energies. It is often chosen to support phases of inner “upgrading,” subtle exploration, and consciousness practices (meditation, dreams, symbolic work).

Centering & calming: known for a soothing presence that helps return to center and enter a meditative state more easily.
Receptivity & guidance: traditionally used to encourage message-reception, inspiration, and subtle perceptions (intuition, inner sensing).

Care & Precautions

Kyanite is a mineral to handle with care (its structure can be fragile). For the aura-treated version, gentle methods are recommended.

Cleansing: smoke cleansing, sound, or placing it on a quartz cluster/geode.
Recharging: moonlight or a geode.
In some approaches, kyanite is considered less likely to hold energetic residue; however, a gentle refresh is still appreciated to maintain a feeling of clarity.
