Yooperlite (Fluorescent Syenite)

Discovered in 2017, Yooperlite is a fluorescent sodalite syenite. Originally from Ontario in Canada, Yooperlite was transported by the melting of glaciers, about ten centuries ago, to the shores of Lake Superior in Michigan.

To see the fluorescent effect, use UV (Black Light) lamps.
